What I Do

Brendan Faller is Gritty Roots Designs. I am living my life's dream to use creativity and design to give people the custom look they want. If you can see it in your mind, I will build it. If you can't see it, I can guide you through a process so that you can develop your idea.

The skills I bring to your home in home construction, furniture design and creation and screen installation will provide you with a customized experience that will leave you satisfied and glad you called.

Working With You

I will come out and evaluate your space, listen to your ideas and provide you the options that will best meet the goals you have in mind. I work with you to make sure that your experience is satisfactory and one that you will brag about to your friends and neighbors. My end goal is that you are happy and feel that you are going to get the most out of your home or living space with the least amount of frustration on your part.

Who I Am

My introduction to residential and commercial construction came from working in the granite and marble business. I started working for Mountain Marble and Granite in Asheville, NC as a beginner fabricator. Ten years later, in 2008, I left the marble and granite industry to move to East Tennessee. Before I left I was managing a company of ten employees that bid jobs throughout Western North Carolina. My experience and expertise allow me to help people with historical restoration, custom fabrication, repair and maintenance for all in-home granite and marble.

In 2010 I began installing retractable doors and motorized screens, working with Paul Van-Heyningen of Paul's Home Improvement. I learned all about the screen systems, installation and maintenance from Paul while running my own company. Now as Paul takes well-earned time to spend time with his family and granddaughter, I am taking up the role of screen provider for the southeast.
